At Berwickshire County Show at the weekend Halbeath Kim K416 triumphed under judge Brain Clark from the Duncanziemere herd when she took female and overall champion.
Kim is an Idvies Elmonarch daughter is out of the Halbeath Knight C069 daughter Halbeath Kim F289. Purchased last October at the Halbeath dispersal she was reserve overall champion at Border Union Show. Her March born heifer calf at foot, Rulesmains Kim P504 is by Duncanziemere Edwin J311 and was first prize calf.
We also took reserve male champion with the January 2013-born Rulesmains Keystone N355. He was also reserve male champion at Border Union Show. By Rawburn Elmer J921 he is out of Belhaven Keystone Kinannie H099, a KMK Alliance daughter. He has a calving ease direct of +2.3, +5.0 for eye muscle depth, +14 for milk with a terminal index of +38 and a self replacing index of +51.
Rulesmains Barbara M259 took a red ticket in the two year old heifer class. This Hoff Trail Boss daughter is out of the Chalco Juror sired Argwen Barbara. She was breed champion and reserve native champion at Northumberland Show in May and second at Agri-Expo last October.
While standing second was Rulesmains Miss Essences N378, she is a March 2013-born Rawburn Effortless H804 daughter out of the DMM Posi-Traction sired Weeton Miss Essence J146. She carries a milk figure of +17.
